Stories from around the UK about businesses that are adapting and supporting their communities #KeepBritainMoving

Webinar: How businesses have adapted during COVID-19

In April, we heard from 4 people that are adapting their businesses and are looking towards a 'new normal' in response to the crisis. A huge undertaking in such a short space of time, we’ve asked them to openly share their stories, including highlights, mistakes and novel ideas that fellow businesses can adopt. We hope these stories will provide some support and inspiration #KeepBritainMovingSpeakers

Thanks to Thyngs, Urban, Rise Barclays and Envoy Taxi App for sharing their experiences.

Payment advice during COVID-19:

  • Request digital payments; where possible ask your customers to make digital payments to reduce face-to-face interaction.
  • Get up and running asap; if you're switching payment solutions, ask for the 'time to live'. Can they get you up and running asap?
  • Reduce costs; renting physical tills or card machines can be pricey, ask your supplier if you can temporarily reduce your payments.
  • Protect against fraud; ensure your digital payments solution has a built-in fraud tool to keep your business' and your customers' money safe.

If you'd prefer to speak to a human, our Payments Consultants are on hand to help at
0203 510 5111.
